This software was a game changer when I converted to it having used AutoCAD for almost two decades. It was a tough steep learning curve but has been worth every second of the training and frustration to be in the position I am now, having such powerful software at my fingertips, and to be proficient using it.
Solidworks Visualize is also part of the professional package, and this is the software used for the photo realistic renders such as the image to the right. Visit 'Model Visualizations' in the menu to see more.
I have an active subscription to Solidworks maintenance and support, therefore my software is fully licensed, up to the minute, and running as smoothly & efficiently as possible in conjunction with my high spec hardware.
Solidworks also provide a free program called eDrawings, which enables you to view and manipulate 3D models as well as view and mark up drawing layouts.
