More than just ‘eye candy’, this high standard of CGI can be a real asset in the early design stages of a project as most people cannot visualize items from a 2D drawing. Images like this are genuine reassurance to a client who can see exactly what they will be getting for their money.
In addition to the above, and on a personal note, as I do not get to see most of my jobs when they are completed on site, they serve as a portfolio for my own work.
